Lahore: The Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has imposed an emergency across the Punjab regarding smog prevention
A meeting regarding anti-smog was held under the chairmanship of caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, after which instructions were issued to implement smog emergency throughout Punjab. And gave a briefing about the preventive measures related to the effects of smog, environmental experts said that school holidays and stopping transport will not make a difference. Masks have been made mandatory for students in private schools
Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that masks are necessary for the health of students, and the people are also requested to use masks. Mohsen Naqvi issued instructions to the provincial ministers to visit public and private schools. And he said that action will also be taken against those who do not sprinkle soil, sand and debris during the construction of houses. He also said that they should not burn the remains of the crops but destroy them in a proper manner, however, indiscriminate action will be continued against vehicles and factories that emit smoke.
