LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a temporary interruption of gas supply in several parts of Lahore due to maintenance work at Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase VII.
According to a public notice issued by the company, gas supply will remain suspended from 9:00pm on Thursday, October 29, until 6:00am on Friday, October 30.
The scheduled shutdown will affect multiple localities across the city, including all blocks of DHA Phases V, VI and VIII, along with other areas listed in the company’s notice.
SNGPL said the temporary disruption was necessary to carry out maintenance work on the gas distribution system.
The company has advised residents of the affected areas to make alternative arrangements for their gas requirements during the suspension period to minimise inconvenience.
