LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday said that no one was discriminated against in the ongoing search operation of police and other law enforcement agencies in Punjab, saying that Pakhtunks are our brothers and have all the rights to do business in Punjab.
Addressing a press conference at Model Town Lahore along with Eng. Amir Muqam he said that Amir Muqam called on Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and discussed with him the ongoing combing operations in the province.
He added that general public also braved combing and intelligence-based operation in Punjab. He added that PPP and PTI were doing negative politics over the combing operation in Sindh and KP, respectively.
He added that linking every things with Punjab was politics of incompetence. Sanaullah said that people of all provinces were their bothers, adding that we have to fight terrorism jointly.
On the occasion, Amir Muqam said that they condemned all incidents of terrorism, saying that the terrorists had no religion or faith.
However, he demanded that during search operation in the province lady police and local representatives should also accompany the raiding teams. He made it clear that Pakhtuns became IDPs in the war against terrorism. “Pakhtuns have rendered greatest sacrifices in the war against terrorism and no excesses should be meted out to them ,” he added.
