Some people don’t want to admit MQM mandate: Nadeem Nusrat

KARACHI: MQM leader Nadeem Nusrat has said that the time Muttahida Qaumi Movement spent was tough enough that any other party would have collapsed, adding that operation clean up drama is under way in Karachi, while some elements are unable to digest MQM mandate.

Addressing through video link at Nine Zero, Nadeem Nusrat said that Karachi operation was launched followed by MQM demanded, but it was diverted towards MQM. He said that MQM again secured victory in recent past in by-elections, adding that if there would be any other party besides MQM, then the party could not even get a councilor seat.

MQM Convener Nadeem Nusrat claimed that 4440 MQM workers were arrested during Karachi operation, while 127 workers are in jail. He said that 127 MQM workers were missing and 60 have been killed in extra judicial killing. He accused that MQM is being pushed to wall in rural areas of Sindh, for which some elements are supporting PSP and Haqiqi.
