South Africa beat Pakistan by 7 wicket in second T20I

WEB DESK: South Africa defeated Pakistan in the second T20I by 7 wickets.

In the match played at Centurion, Pakistan’s captain Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and chose to bat first. Pakistan scored 206 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Opener Saim Ayub played an aggressive inning, remaining unbeaten on 98 runs off 57 balls, hitting 5 sixes and 11 fours.

Other notable contributions came from captain Mohammad Rizwan (11), Babar Azam (31), Usman Khan (3), and Tayyab Tahir (6). Irfan Khan scored 30 runs off 16 balls, while Abbas Afridi remained not out with 11 runs off 4 balls.

From South Africa’s side, Guilliam and Bartman took 2 wickets each.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan made one change for the second T20, bringing in fast bowler Jehandad Khan in place of spinner Sufiyan Muqeem.
