South Africa clinch victory in test series as host win 2nd test by 10 wickets against Pakistan

Cape town: South Africa have clinched victory in a two-test match series against Pakistan and the host won the second test match with 10 wickets.

Pakistan after follow on all out at a meager lead of 57 runs after a chase of 416 runs on fourth day of the match.

South Africa chased the meager target of 57 runs without losing any single wicket after the tea break.

David Bedingham made unbeaten 47 runs while scored unbeaten Aiden Markram 14.

Despite the guest team first inning low total, Pakistan tried it best to back in the game as captain Shan Masood, Babar Azam made 205 runs partnership.

The partner ship broke when Babar Azam catch out at 205 runs scoring splendid and responsible 81 runs.

As night watch man Khurram Shahzad out, Shan Masood continued with partnership with Kamran Ghulam, Saud Shakeel while he ousted with LBW making 145 runs leading from front inning.

After that Muhammad Rizwan and Salaman Ali Agha stayed at the crease while later sent to pavilion on 41 runs albeit on 48 runs.

Later, Amir Jamal and Mir Hamaz back to pavilion after scoring 34 runs, 16 runs respectively. While Sayim Ayub has already out of team owing to his ankle injury.

Earlier, in first inning whole of Pakistan bowled out faced follow on at 194 runs in chase of 615 runs.

South Africa with the help of three centuries by three players able to register massive score of 615 run.

Ryan Rickelton played extraordinary with score of 259 runs, captain Temba Bavuma (c)
also made a ton and out at 106 runs other century maker was Kyle Verreynne †who scored 100 runs.

Also prominent batters from the proteas side were Marco Jansen with 62 runs, Keshav Maharaj with 40 runs.
