Special Flights Bring 268 Pakistani Pilgrims Safely Back from Iraq

ISLAMABAD: The process of bringing Pakistani pilgrims back from Iraq is ongoing, with a total of 268 individuals having safely returned aboard special flights.

A spokesperson from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that two flights have successfully arrived in Karachi and Islamabad, transporting the returning pilgrims. The ministry is working closely with Iraqi Airways and Iraqi authorities to coordinate the safe and smooth repatriation of the remaining pilgrims.

The spokesperson also urged all pilgrims to remain on standby for travel at short notice, as the repatriation efforts are proceeding efficiently and systematically. The Foreign Office reaffirmed that comprehensive arrangements are in place to ensure the safe and orderly return of all Pakistani pilgrims from Iraq and is continuously monitoring the situation as it develops.
