Karachi: An accused involved in kidnapping of children has been arrested.
According to the Special Investigation Police, the accused Nabeel was arrested from Surjani Town area of Karachi along with arms.
Nabeel had abducted two children from FB area on on March 26, 2024 while he had demanded a ransom of Rs 1.5 million for the release of the children.
According to police officials, the group kidnapped the children , by intercepting their school van near FB Area. The accused also snatched the driver’s mobile phone and escaped.
The accused has belonged to an organized kidnapping group.
