A Special meeting under the presidency of Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi to review of the proposals to remove obstacles in the flow of traffic in Lahore, and decided that Tire killers will be placed on the U-turn for one-way violation decided to permanently remove temporary encroachments on 32 major roads in Lahore , Mohsin Naqvi directed to removed encroachments immediately.Joint squads of police, traffic police and MCL will be deployed at 32 locations Due to development projects, traffic flow is directed to better alternative routes Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed Traffic Engineering & Transport Planning Agency ( TEPA ) to carry out restructuring of roads and intersections at 32 places Awan Town and Multan Chongi Chowk on Thokar to Chaubarji Multan Road will be redesigned , reviewed of the proposal to construct an underpass from Jinnah Hospital to Karim Block , agreed to solve the issue of road engineering at 135 places
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed for immediate measures for the patchwork of road
Inspector General Police, Commissioner Lahore, CCPO, Deputy Commissioner, DIG Traffic Police, CTO Lahore. Deputy Commissioner, Chief Engineer LDA, Chief Engineer TEPA, DIG Operations and concerned officials attended the meeting.
