Gujar Khan (February 21, 2018): A student was on Wednesday killed after a local bus ran over him when he was trying to catch it at Sarwar Shaheed roundabout in Gujar Khan.
Eyewitnesses said that, the student was trying to catch the bus but the driver sped the bus in he top gear when he came to know that a student was trying to get on board.
As a result, the student lost balance and fell over, due to which, the bus allegedly ran over him. The driver of the bus fled the scene.

According to sources, those present at the scene immediately transferred the injured boy to nearby hospital where he succumbed to wounds.
A few students then turned into a motley mob who torched the bus and blocked Lahore-Islamabad GT Road, calling for punishing the driver fittingly. According to the students, the students often meet such treatment in public transport.
