KARACHI: The city of lights, Karachi will soon be enveloped in a new heavy spell of rain which is expected to occur with thunderstorms, according to the meteorological department of Pakistan.
As per the Met Office, a fresh rain spell has entered the region from the South which will soon engulf Karachi city.
Along with Karachi, the rain is also expected to hit several regions of Punjab and Balochistan. The City Government has issued an emergency considering the prediction of heavy rain in Karachi and has also cancelled all offs of the staff members.
On the other hand, snowfall alongside rain enveloped the city of Quetta and other major parts of the Balochistan on Sunday morning.
The rain which commenced on Saturday night in Qallat, Sibbi, Noshki and Chaman also got carried on till Sunday morning.
Although, as per the usual basis, several regions of Balochistan experienced electricity load shedding after the rainfall.
