Sports Minister Sindh announces reward of Rs 3.5 millions for Arshad Nadeem

Karachi: Provincial Sports Minister Sindh Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh has announced a reward of Rs 3.5 millions for gold medalist and ace athlete Arshad Nadeem for his heroic performance in the Paris Olympics.

The Sindh Sports department will reward Rs 2.5 millions while Rs one million will be given by the Minister from his pocket.

He said that he will soon meet the Pakistani hero Arshad Nadeem.

Arshad Nadeem has won a gold medal in the Paris Olympics which is the first individual medal for Pakistan in the Olympic history.

He also succeeded to get gold medal for the country after a hiatus of 40 years. The 40 years ago Pakistan has won the gold medal in hockey 1984 Los Angeles Olympics in the USA.

Arshad Nadeem also broke javelin throw 118 year record by throwing javelin to a distance of 92.97
