Karachi: The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) in their drive against non-compliant taxpayers has sealed two business premises of Shadow Fitness Gyms in Karachi.
The SRB has taken action for non-payment of sales tax and non-filling of monthly tax returns which resulted in a huge loss of Sindh Sales Tax (SST).
Earlier, SRB had directed the said gym to complete its registration with the SRP, deposit the due amount of monthly sales tax and also e-file monthly sales tax returns.
However, they failed to do so despite availing sufficient time for compliance in this regard.
The gym sites are situated in plot# 120 Sky Comforts, opposite Del Frio, Block A, S.M.C.H.A. and the second one is located at Shabir Ahmed Usmani Road Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 4, FL-3.
The SRB warned that it will continue to take action against gyms which will fail to complete their registration with the SRB.
