DAMBULLA: In the opening match of the three-match T20 series, Sri Lanka set a target of 129 runs for Pakistan to chase.

Captain Salman Ali Agha of Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first, allowing the host team Sri Lanka to bat.
Pakistan’s playing XI featured all-rounder Shadab Khan, who made his return to the squad. The team also included Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Salman Ali Agha, Fakhru Zaman, and Osman Khan.
Additionally, Mohammad Nawaz, Fahad Shafique, Mohammad Waseem Jr., Salman Mirza, and Abur Rehman were among the players in the starting lineup.
Sri Lanka’s Batting Performance
Pakistan’s strong bowling effort restricted Sri Lanka to 128 runs in 19.2 overs, resulting in an early wicket fall.
Janith Liyanage scored a quick 40, while Hasaranga and Isanka contributed 18 runs each.
Pakistan’s bowlers, Salman Mirza and Abur Rehman, took three wickets apiece, with Shadab Khan and Mohammad Waseem sharing two wickets each.
