Karachi: Two people were shot dead and six were injured in different incidents of robberies in Karachi on Monday as police fails to control rising street crimes.
In the first incident near Godam Chowrangi Korangi, three unidentified men came in a car and robbed a cash van of a medical company. The opened fire when the guards resisted.
Ashok, an employee of the company succumbed to the injury while two guards were injured after being shot, the Korangi Industrial Area police said.
Separately, one student was shot dead in Landhi 36/B during a robbery. Eyewitnesses says Usman was not merely watching the robbers.
In Surjani, one person has injured in a scuffle with robbers while three people, including a police officer, were wounded in New Karachi after being shot by robbers.
