Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has demanded to initiate a debate over the mini-budget in the parliament.
For the demand, former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbass said that the government is going to impose tax worth of 500 billion in the mini-budget while he warned that if the debate on the mini-budget not held in the parliament than strong protest will be staged.

The PML-N parliamentary party vital meeting was held in the chair of Shahid Khaqan Abbassi wherein the mini-budget, finance bill and autonomy of the SBP were dissucessed in details.
The huddle set the party strategy for the mini budget.
Talking to media after the meeting, the PML-N stalwart Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that the government is going to impose the tax worth of Rs 500 billion owing to which every citizen of the country will be affected.
He apprised that the meeting also deliberated upon amendments in the election laws as well.
