It is pertinent to mention here that the commissioner Karachi after consultation with dairy farmers, wholesellers and retailors fixed the prices of milk at Rs 120 per litre three months ago on December 8 2021.

The dairy farmers and retailors were selling the milk at the rate of Rs 140 per litre instead of the government rates of Rs 120, now they increased the price Rs 150..

The dairy farmers stubbornness persists despite decrease of Rs 10 on petrol and diesel and Rs 5 in electricity charges by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
