RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lt General Babar Iftikhar has said that summary having names of six most senior army officers has been sent to the ministry of defense.
The announcement was made through the official Twitter handle of the DG ISPR.
“GHQ has forwarded summary for selection of CJCSC and COAS, containing names of 6 senior most Lt Gens to MoD,” the tweet read.
Earlier it was reported that PM House has received the summary for COAS appointment but later Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb denied the news.
