LAHORE: Coronavirus has claimed seven lives and 3567 cases reported in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the number of confirmed positive cases has surged to 1,315,834. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 28,999 on Friday.
As many as 494,064 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 450,686 in Punjab, 181,996 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 110,243 in Islamabad, 34,726 in Azad Kashmir 33,682 in Balochistan and 10,437 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 24,032,951 coronavirus tests and 48,449 in the last 24 hours. 1,260,407 patients have recovered in the country whereas 675 patients are in critical condition.
The COVID-19 positivity ratio was recorded at 7.36 percent.
So far, 101,124,956 people have received their first dose of coronavirus vaccine including 327,877 in last 24 hours. 76,162,035 citizens have been fully vaccinated while 475,648 received their second dose in last 24 hours.
The number of total administered doses has reached to 166,083,807with 786,835 in the last 24 hours.
