NEW YORK: Pakistan’s Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi said that Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj’s statement at United Nations General Assembly was nothing but a pack of lies.
Maleeha Lodhi said that India leveled baseless allegations on Pakistan and added that the world knew that Kashmir is an international dispute. She said that India itself closed the doors of dialogues . Prime Minister had said that Pakistan is ready for dialogues with India, she said and added that India did not answer to the offer.
Maleeha said that Sushma Swaraj statement on Balochistan was against the diplomatic norms. She said that India had been sponsoring terrorism in neighboring countries for last 50 years. The ambassador said that ‘Uri attack’ was staged by India to divert world’s attention from atrocities in Occupied Kashmir.
Maleeha said that Pakistan keeps a positive view and wanted to resolve Kashmir issue peacefully .
