OKARA: Police have detained a suspect in connection with the sexual assault of a seven-year-old girl in Gogera Khas, following a report filed by the child’s father.
The District Police Officer (DPO) responded swiftly to the incident, issuing directives for immediate action. As a result, the police registered a case and apprehended the suspect, identified as Saim.
According to the official FIR, the accused had allegedly been abusing the child over the past two months. Authorities are currently conducting further investigations into the matter.
The DPO of Okara emphasized that the law would be strictly enforced against the offender, stating that anyone involved in child abuse would face severe legal consequences. He assured that the investigation would be carried out thoroughly and fairly, in accordance with legal procedures.
