Peshawar: A suspected case of a monkey pox has reported in Pakistan.
According to the Director Public Health Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has apprised that a person belonged to Mardan has come from United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He apprised that for further confirmation of the virus a sample of the virus has been sent to National Institute of Health (NIH).
The affected person from the monkey pox has tiny symptoms of the virus while a contact tracing of the person has also been arrested.
He informed that more people samples are being taken.
The Ministry of health has directed the all provinces to depute a focal person on the monkey pox .
Whereas the border health services have been directed strict monitoring of the virus at all the points of entry in the entry
