Geneva: Federal Minister for health Syed Mustafa Kamal on Thursday today called on Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gavi Dr Sania Nishter on sidelines of the World Health Assembly.
A detailed discussion were held on upticking a coverage of immunization and on going steps regarding the matter between Dr Sania Nisther and the Health Minister.
Syed Mustafa Kamal said that imperative measures are underway for upticking the coverage of the immunization and its rates improved as well.
They also exchanged views on local manufacturing of vaccines and measurees for increasing production.

The Health Minister apprised the CEO Gavi that a coordinated strategy is being formulated to increase capacity of local manufacturing of vaccines .
Talking about potential existing in the Pakistani market, he said that through local manufacturing of the vaccines precious foreign exchange will be saved.
Dr Sania Nisther has joined the Gavi in 2024 after tendering resignation from her senatorship in Pakistan while in the past she had also served special assistant to the premeir for poverty eleviation and social safety with status of the federal minister.
