ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior, Talal Chaudhary, emphasized that the Pakistani nation stands united and firm in its resolve to combat terrorism.
Speaking to the media at the Islamabad bomb blast site on Friday, he assured that the country’s comprehensive national strategy is effectively dismantling terrorist networks.
He pointed out that terrorists, in their desperation, continue to target soft spots such as mosques and imambargahs, but the overall fight against terrorism is progressing successfully. Talal reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to victory in this ongoing war, highlighting that extremism under the guise of religion or Baloch nationalism is unequivocally terrorism with no connection to genuine faith or patriotism.
The minister also accused India of involvement in sponsoring terrorists, noting evidence of training camps in Afghanistan used to carry out attacks inside Pakistan. He urged Afghanistan to stop serving as a proxy for India’s efforts to destabilize Pakistan, calling for cooperation to curb cross-border terrorism.
