Islamabad: The government working on a mission to give up burden of heavy electricity bills on the shoulders of the people for the purpose the talks between the government and the owners of the International Power Producers (IPPs) have entered in a vital phase
The most of the IPPs owners have shown willingness to reviewing the agreements. While some of the owners are reluctant to reviewing the agreements.
Sources said that the government has decided to adopt strict point of view with the IPPs not agree to review the agreements.
In the chair of special assistant Muhmmad Ali task force has continued its work on the matter.
Sources said that the dozens of the IPP are receiving the billions of rupees for capacity charges without production of the electricity.
Owing to the capacity payment the masses have a burden of Rs 20 per unit.
