ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen has convened a meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee tomorrow in which a grant of Rs 215 million is likely to be approved for the Election Commission. A meeting of the Economic Co-ordination Committee chaired by Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen will consider the three-point agenda. During the meeting, funds will be released to the Election Commission for the local body elections to be held on September 12. The meeting will consider the financial difficulties of Roosevelt Hotel New York and a summary of the cooperation of the Government of Pakistan. A technical supplementary grant of 30 300 million will also be presented to the Ministry of Health for the purchase of vaccines.
