Bajur Agency (February 19, 2018): Security forces on Monday foiled a terror bid in Bajur Agency area of the Federally Administered Tribal Area and killed two suicide bombers in a raid carried out in Tehsil Mamond area of the agency.
According to security authorities, the security was beefed up in the agency after a tip off that two bombers had entered the area and could target key installations.

The security forces carried out the raid in Gutki area of Tehsil Mamond in which a suicide bomber blew himself up while another suicide attacker was killed in the exchange of fire. However, no damage was done to the raiding party.
The security forces cordoned off the area and are searching for further suspects in the area while the bodies of both the bombers were shifted to Agency Headquarters Hospital, Khar for identification process.
