Rawalpindi: An exchange of fire conducted between security forces and terrorists in South Waziristan area of Ladah, Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said.
As per the ISPR, the security forces successfully surrounded the terrorists area while the operation was conducted on intervening night of August 23 and 23.
A terrorist was mow down in the exchange of fire, ISPR added. The operation is continued in wake of any terrorist presence in the area.
The ISPR apprised that the killed terrorist was involved in killing of innocent citizens and security forces.
