LAHORE: A terrorist was killed and four security personnel were injured in an exchange of bullets during a joint operation in Lahore late Friday.
According to the details, Rangers and intelligence agencies on a tipoff conducted the raid in Punjab Housing Society. The terrorists opened fire as the security personnel cordoned off a house and in retaliation a terrorist was killed. Whereas his two accomplices, including a woman were arrested from the house.
Rescue officials shifted the injured security personnel to the CMH. The deceased terrorist apparently seemed as Uzbek. Residents said that the terrorists took the house on rent two months ago. Security personnel recovered a suicide vest, detonators and weapons from the terrorists.
