Rawalpindi: As many as six terrorists were gunned down in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan in a retaliatory action after a group of six terrorists attacked security check post martyring seven soldiers of Pakistan army including two officers.
According to the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), the group of six terrorists hit their explosive laden vehicle into the check post in Mir Ali area in North Waziristan they also carried out one after another suicide blasts on the check post.
During the attack, the one part of the check post demolished while six brave soldiers embraced martyrdom which included Hawaldar Sabir, Nayik Khursheed, Sepoy Nasir, Sepoy Raja and Sepoy Sajjad were among them.
A clearance operation led by Colonel Kashif eliminated all six terrorists while during an exchange of firing Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali and Captain Muhammad Ahmed Babur sacrificed their lives while fighting the enemies with bravery.
Lieutenant Colonel Kashif Ali 39-years-old was belonged to Karachi while 24 -year-Old Captain Muhammad Ahmed Babur was belonged to Tala Gang.
A sanitation operation in the area is continued aiming at eliminating the remaining terrorists. The ISPR said that the armed forces are determined to eradicate menace of terrorism from the country.
