Rawalpindi: As many as five security personnel embraced martyrdom during an exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces at the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
According to Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists have fired at the district Kurram from the Afghan side while the security forces have given terrorists befitting response and inflicted heavy losses to the enemy.
The martyred soldiers included Lance Nayik Ajab Noor, Sepoy Zia Ullah, Sepoy Naheed Iqbal, Sepoy Sajid Ali and Sepoy Sameer Ullah Khan.
The ISPR said that Pakistan strongly condemned the use of Afghan soil by the terrorists while it is expected that Afghan government will not allow such activities in the future.
