Thailand’s Suchata Opal Crowned Miss World 2025 

HYDERABAD: A momentous event marking the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant, Suchata Opal Chuangsri of Thailand was crowned Miss World 2025, captivating audiences and judges alike. 

The prestigious international beauty contest took place in India, drawing contestants from 108 countries around the globe.At just 22 years old, Suchata Opal Chuangsri is not only celebrated for her grace and poise but also for her dedication to social causes. A dedicated political science student and women’s health advocate, she has championed the rights and well-being of women through her impactful initiative, “Opal for Her,” which offers vital support to women battling breast cancer.

“Opal has demonstrated that she embodies more than just beauty, she is a woman of purpose with a powerful voice that the world is eager to hear,” remarked Julia Morley, Chairwoman of the Miss World Organization and head of the jury panel.The competition was fierce, with Suchata emerging as the standout among the diverse field of contestants. The first runner-up was Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje, followed by Maja Klajda from Poland and Aurélie Joachim of Martinique, who also showcased exceptional talent and poise.
