Karachi: The delegation of Muslim League (N) met the members of the Coordination Committee of Muttahida in Karachi. MQM put forward the demands of elections and post-elections. League leader: Khawaja Saad Rafiq
The arrival of the delegation of Muslim League-N at the Bahadurabad , MQM welcomed and the discussion took place in a pleasant atmosphere.
The whole country will benefit from MQM alliance. Local government system should be strengthened. The equitable process of distribution the resources from the provincial financial award should be carried forward. There should be a discussion on the growth of democracy and the economy. MQM Conveyor Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that protection of local governments is indispensable for public interest. A caretaker set-up should come after the term of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor is over. Discussions were held in a pleasant atmosphere between PML-N and MQM. Both the parties agreed to protect the local government system.
The delegation of PML-N has also met the leadership of Pir Pagara and JUI before MQM and these meetings have gained political importance. The committee will be headed by MQM leader Dr. Farooq Sattar, while the committee will include Aminul Haque, Javed Hanif and Hasan Sabir.
