Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistan attaches great importance to its fraternal relations with United Arab Emirates.
Addressing a presser in Dubai today (Sunday), the foreign minister said that there is no meeting in his schedule with Indian Foreign Minister in UAE.
The foreign minister said purpose of UAE’s visit is to further strengthen the existing ties between the two countries.
Pakistan has refused reports of any meeting taking place between Qureshi and Jaishankar. In response to queries on whether there was a bilateral meeting scheduled between the two, FO spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said:
“No such meeting is scheduled during Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s ongoing visit to the UAE.”
