The leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser while talking to the media in Peshawar has demanded that there should be an open trial of the May 9 cases.
Asad Qaiser said, the negotiations with the government, we have demanded the release of the arrested persons. PTI founder Imran Khan has made it clear that he will come out of jail only when all the workers are released. The ball is now in the government’s court, let’s see how it reacts now.
The entire western world has raised its voice on the human rights situation in Pakistan. The Chief Justice should take notice of the violation of human rights. Lawyers have to stand on this issue, but unfortunately, lawyers are also divided, said Asad Qaiser
He further said, 26th constitutional amendment has paralyzed the judicial system. Everyone has to raise their voice on this and support Imran Khan.
He said, we have to review the foreign policy. Issues with Afghanistan should be resolved through negotiations. A Jirga should be held on this matter.
