There will Be A Group Iftar In The Prophet’s Mosque After Two Years In Ramadan

Riyadh: Visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque will be able to break the fast in Ramadan after two years.

The Prophet’s Mosque in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the resumption of mass iftars at the Prophet’s Mosque during Ramadan this year.

Group breakfast has been banned for two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The agency of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi Al-Amri has eased Corona restrictions and allowed group breakfasts during Ramadan this year. Certain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) must be observed during group breakfast.

According to the agency, if social distancing restrictions are maintained, a maximum of five people will be allowed to have breakfast at one table. If the ban on social distancing is lifted, 12 people will be able to have breakfast at one table.

The agency directed companies and individuals wishing to hold a collective iftar in the Prophet’s Mosque to obtain permits.
