FAISALABAD: The third suspect involved in the gang rape case during a robbery near the motorway has been arrested.
According to the police, the third suspect in the gang rape case, Umar Hayat, was arrested from the Mankera area.
Two of the suspects, Ali Sheer and Faisal, are already under judicial remand.
It may be recalled that three armed robbers allegedly gang-raped a woman in the presence of her husband during the night of March 25 in Sandal Bar area of Faisalabad.
After the case was registered, the police arrested two accused, Ali Sher and Faisal, while the third accused, Omar Hayat, was absconding and has now been arrested.
