LAHORE: Ameer Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Senator Siraj Ul Haq criticizing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government said that the incumbent rulers depended on the International Monetary Fund (IMF) like previous governments while it also introducing an amnesty scheme for which it always remained opposed.
Ameer Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Senator Siraj Ul Haq said that the PTI government took loans in a figure within a 10-month of its tenure what previous government had taken in a decade.
The JI Ameer said that “the IMF not only provides loans but it also influences foreign and internal policies.”
Siraj Ul Haq said that it would be better if government named its amnesty scheme with ‘Loto aur Phuttho’ means “Plunder and Runaway”.
He said that Plato’s of the government has used to of seeing everything with the glasses of the IMF adding that the bail-out package with the IMF is not at all in the country’s interest adding that the agreement with the IMF solely direct intervention in the national affairs.
The JI Ameer said that he will raise voice in favour of traders and businessmen.
