UNICEF: The United Nations Children’s Fund has expressed fear of the death of thousands of children due to acute malnutrition in Gaza
According to the international media millions of people have been rendered homeless and hospitals disabled by the Israeli aggression in Gaza, a large number of children are feared to have died due to severe malnutrition caused by Israeli restrictions in the area.
UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund said that 10,000 children under the age of 5 may die due to malnutrition in Gaza, and the situation could be very dangerous in the coming weeks
UNICEF has also expressed its concerns regarding the health of 135,000 children under the age of 2 and about 155,000 pregnant women in Gaza.
