Karachi (July 25, 2017): An intelligence agency has issued a threat alert for Karachi, citing that a suicide bomber has reached in the city to target Karachi Airport.
“It has been learnt through reliable sources that a suicide bomber along with a vehicle (white corolla) registration number 26583 has reached at Karachi to launch suicide attack. He is planning to launch Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Devise (VBIED) attack at Karachi Airport,” said a letter to Sindh Home Department.
The letter suggested extreme vigilance and high security measures at all levels in the wake of Lahore attack.
