JHANG: Three bogies of a freight train derailed in Shorkot area leading to suspension of railway traffic.
According to Pakistan Railways officials, a freight train was carrying coal for Qadirpoor Coal Power Project in Sahiwal, when three of its boogies derailed near Shorkot.
The accident led to suspension of traffic on up- and down track. Millat Express was stopped at Shorkot Railway station following the accident.
PR officials said that work to remove the derailed bogies was started and soon railway traffic will be restored.
