NAWABSHAH: Three people died at the scene on Thursday when a speeding car struck people standing beside the road near Sakrand, police said.
The victims’ bodies were taken to hospital for the required procedures. Police said they were investigating the circumstances of the crash.
In a separate incident last month, a 17-year-old was killed and another teenager injured when a dumper struck them near Korangi No. 3 in Karachi.
The crash drew a crowd, some of whom tried to stop other dumpers and set the vehicle involved on fire. Police intervened and took the driver to a police station for questioning, officials said.
