ISLAMABAD: Three more bodies of the victims of PK-661 crash including the wife of renowned preacher Junaid Jamshed were identified.
The identified bodies are of the pilot of the ill-fated plane Saleh Janjua, an Australian citizen and Niha Junaid, wife of Juaind Jamshed.
Sources in PIMS hospital said that the bodies of Saleh Janjua and Niha Junaid were identified through the examination of their teeth, while the Australian citizen’s body was identified through the artificial joint of the knee. Till now, 12 bodies of the crash victims have been identify while 35 bodies including that of Junaid Jamshed were yet to be identified.
On December 7, at least 47 people were killed when a PIA flight crashed near Abbottabad district after one of its two turboprop engines failed while travelling from Chitral to Islamabad.
