Three Pakistanis Among 15 Killed In Kuwait Bus Collision

Kuwait City (April 01, 2018): Three Pakistanis among 15 people were killed as two busses packed with passengers collided head on in Kuwait today, said Fire Service Directorate (KFSD).    

While four others were also injured in the accident, KFSD added. Two people and a Kuwaiti citizen were injured in the tragic accident that involved two buses on Al Artal road, located close to the seventh ring road. It was a head on collision, which resulted in the high number of casualties, the statement added.Firefighters immediately rushed to the scene to rescue the injured. One of them was taken by an ambulance and the other was flown to a hospital.

The firefighters immediately launched a rescue operation to help four workers who were trapped in the wreckage of the mangled bus.

Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) announced that the buses were transporting employees of contracting firms that worked for the company when the crash occurred near Burgan oil field.
