WEB DESK: The 33rd anniversary of the passing of renowned Pakistani film actress Nasira Begum, famously known as ‘Rani’, is being commemorated today.
Rani was Born in Lahore in 1941, Rani rose to fame in the late 1960s, especially through her collaborations with legendary actor Waheed Murad. During the 1980s, she expanded her career into television, delivering notable performances in various drama serials that received widespread acclaim.
Throughout her career, Rani was honored with three Nigar Awards for her outstanding contributions to the film industry. She passed away in Karachi on this day in 1993 and was laid to rest in the Muslim Town cemetery in Lahore.
