Karachi: Tom Latham 118 runs and Gleen Philips 61 helped New Zealand recovered from low score target to high score target of 321 against Pakistan in the opener of Champions Trophy.
Tom Latham and Glenn Philips played superb partner ship of 125 runs during fith wicket partnership.
Besides Will Young also scored a ton of 107 runs.
Match was in complete gripped of Pakistan as New Zealand score was 244 in 45th over but Shaheen Shah Afridi and Harrif Rauf seemed that had forgotten line and length.
In just five overs New Zealand scored 75 runs and Pakistan lost control of the match.
From Pakistan Harris Rauf and Naseem Shah have gotten two wickets each. On the other hand Ibrar Ahmed took one wicket.
Harris Rauf remained the most expensive bowlers who gave 83 runs in 10 overs.
Earlier, Pakistan have won the toss and elected to ball first.
