Lahore: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the top judiciary should take notice on the national matters.
Addressing Lahore High Court Bar (LHCB), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the PPP has a deep relations with the LHCB adding that his party believes in the supremacy of the law and without any law no democracy is possible.
The PPP Chairman said that a law play a role of bridge between a state and its people.
He said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto worked for the democracy and no state can survive without a law. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto gave a gift of democracy and the constitution while the PPP played a role in the restoration of the judiciary.
He claimed that baseless cases were lodged against his father (Asif Zardari) in which he acquitted. and a presidential reference was brought against Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
He said that the incumbent government has failed in the supremacy of the law and we wanted supremacy of law and justice in the country.
Here in the country no laws of parliament are being followed adding that the country is not going towards democracy in the leadership of Imran Khan, he added.
Addressing the lawyers, he said that no any country can provide justice without transparent system adding that the country is being run against our hopes and the top judiciary should take notice on the national issues instead of smaosas.
