ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has expressed concern over firing incident at Pakistan-Afghanistan Torkham Border and summoned Afghan charge d’affairs to Foreign Office and recorded its protest.
According to foreign office, last night a security personnel including 12 people have been injured due to firing by Afghan security forces at Pakistan-Afghanistan Torkham border in Khyber Agency, on which Pakistan summoned Afghan charge d’affairs to Foreign Office and recorded its protest, demanding immediate and comprehensive investigation of the incident.
It must be recalled that last night government spokesperson also condemned the incident, saying that indiscriminate firing incident are highly concerned, while Pakistan also warned Afghanistan that such incidents can affect bilateral relations.
