Karachi: Traders and Industrialists of Karachi have closed down their small and large industrial units today as a protest against a rampant uptick in gas and electricity prices.
Factories and Industry owners have also shut down export units as well. Banners having labelled against the increase in gas and electricity prices have been fixed all around the Industrial zones of Karachi.
A main protest demonstration will be held today at the SITE association.
The factory owners and Industrialists said that they will announce their next strategy after consultation today.
