Traffic police imposes ban on parking vehicles on vital roads of Karachi on orders of CM Sindh

Karachi: On the orders of Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah a ban has been imposed on parking vehicles on important artieries and roads of Karachi.

The CM Sindh has taken the measure to ensure and improve flow of traffic on vital roads of Karachi.

A ban has been imposed on parking vehicles on I.I Chundrigar Road from Shaheen Complex to Tower, whereas parking vehicles will also be banned from Muhammad Bin Qasim Road, Dr Zia Uddin Road to SM Law College.

Every kind of vehicle parking will not be allowed on these roads. On the other hand, parking will also be banned strictly on foot paths as well.

Chief Minister ordered that action must be taken on the violation of the traffic rules adding confiscate vehicles having fancy number plates.

In his briefing to Chief Minister Sindh, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic apprised that vehicles and cars can be parked in Railway ground adding a crack down is underway against unregistered, non standard number plate vehicles.

The briefing informed that prompt and immediate action will be taken over illegal parking adding only government size number plates will be acceptable.

The DIG traffic further said that the traffic police is in its full action on the orders of the CM Sindh.
